~ ALISE SILIŅA is a Latvian accordionist and highly charismatic, responsive performer, currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music with Owen Murray. Praised as a “star performer” (BPO concert review), she is known for her distinctive artistic voice and collaborative approach to performance.

Her work spans solo, chamber, and interdisciplinary projects, often combining music with theatre, dance, text, and visual design. She has collaborated with organisations including Shakespeare’s Globe, Barefoot Opera, and The Music Troupe, and has developed her own projects such as Aethereally, Behind the Seen, and Planetary, which integrate original concepts, narration, and multimedia performance.

Alise has appeared at major venues including the Royal Festival Hall and Wigmore Hall, and has been featured on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune. She is the founder of the Allora Ensemble, which won the Tunnell Trust Award, and has performed extensively in theatre and opera productions. Her studies are supported by awards including the Leverhulme Arts Scholarship, Help Musicians UK, the Countess of Munster Musical Trust, and the London Symphony Orchestra Scholarship.
