~ Timothy Stewart is a prize-winning organist currently entering his final year at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where he studies Organ Performance with Daniel Moult and Nicholas Wearne. He is a recipient of the DMC McDonald Foundation Scholarship Award and has also received tuition from visiting tutors including Erwan Le Prado, Nathan Laube, and Pier Damiano Peretti.

During his studies, Timothy spent a year at the Eastman School of Music in the USA, studying with Nathan Laube and receiving coaching in improvisation, continuo, and pedal clavichord. He also worked as principal accompanist to the Repertory Singers and supported various student ensembles.

He has won numerous first prizes, including the IAO-RCO Organ Playing Competition (York Minster, 2024), the London Organ Competition (St Clement Danes, 2023), and the Leonard Gibbons Organ Competition (St Chad’s Cathedral, Birmingham, 2024), and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. He has appeared as a recitalist at venues including Westminster Abbey and chapels in Oxford and Cambridge.
